pathsPaths of Discipleship
We believe it is critical that all Christians grow to maturity in their walk with Jesus Christ.
We are therefore committed to helping everyone clearly see the paths they can walk in their journey to a deeper relationship with Jesus and with each other. Toward this end, we are developing an intentional, integrated system for ordered learning and spiritual development. Our desire is that everyone will grow to maturity and that some will aspire to leadership right here in the context of our local church family.

pathsTrack One (Knowing the Community) is for those who are new to Calvary. This path is for the person who wants to find out more about who we are as a family of families…the church. It includes a one day discovery class for new attenders and for those who want a brief refresher course on Calvary. It also includes a six-week class for the new follower of Jesus. This path concludes with a two-week class on water baptism.

Track Two (Joining the Community) is for those who want to take the next steps in their journey. It includes a four-week membership class and also explains how a person actually joins the Calvary Evangelical Free Church. The next portion of track two is for those who want a deeper understanding of and practical application for their spiritual gifts. The final step on this track takes you on a personal journey toward deeper discipleship.

Track Three (Core Principles of Community) is a series of studies designed for accountability in small groups.  Each six-session booklet teaches the core principles of the way of Christ and His apostles.  These studies employ an interactive method using readings, personal reflection, group interaction, and projects.

Track Four (Leadership Community) is for those who want to grow as leaders in their personal lives, in their families and in the church. Each year different materials will be used to equip believers to become effective leaders in the church and Christ's Kingdom.

Track Five (Antioch School) is for those who want formal theological and ministry training in the church.  These resources are aimed at helping believers become leaders by developing the skills needed to do serious equipping, training and development in a ministry context.  The courses offered are available for credit towards credentialed ministry certificates and degrees.
